If your Mount Druitt property needs polyaspartic floor coatings, you want a floor that’s prepared properly, not just painted over. Fast-curing, UV-stable polyaspartic coatings that let you use the floor sooner and won’t yellow in sunlight — premium performance inside or out. Ironclad Floor Solutions has been doing exactly that across Western Sydney since 2011.
Mount Druitt isn’t generic, and neither is our approach. A large, established residential district where original concrete garages and driveways from the 1970s and 80s are prime candidates for crack repair and resurfacing. Against that backdrop, a properly installed polyaspartic floor coatings system gives Mount Druitt owners a floor that suits how the space is actually used.
Across Mount Druitt 2770 in Western Sydney, we work everywhere from the streets around Westfield Mount Druitt, Mount Druitt Hospital and Rooty Hill RSL (nearby) to the quieter pockets in between. With established 1970s–80s homes, original concrete setting the tone locally, we stay busy with both home garages and commercial fit-outs, and polyaspartic floor coatings is a regular part of what we install. We also regularly cross into neighbouring Rooty Hill, St Marys and Blacktown.
Every polyaspartic floor coatings project we complete in Mount Druitt starts with mechanical preparation, not a shortcut. We diamond-grind the slab to the correct concrete profile, repair cracks and joints, moisture-test, and prime before any colour goes down. On the established 1970s–80s homes, original concrete common around here, that preparation is the difference between a floor that lasts ten years and one that lifts in ten months.

Polyaspartic Floor Coatings in Mount Druitt — FAQs
Do you install polyaspartic floor coatings in Mount Druitt?
Yes — polyaspartic floor coatings in Mount Druitt 2770 is one of our regular services. We're about 25 minutes away in Smithfield, so we can be on site quickly for a free, no-obligation quote and a written fixed price.
How much do polyaspartic floor coatings cost?
Polyaspartic systems generally run $60 to $120 per square metre, more than standard epoxy because the material costs more and demands skilled, fast application. You’re paying for UV stability, faster cure and longevity. We provide a written fixed-price quote after inspecting your floor.
Can a polyaspartic floor really be done in one day?
In many cases, yes. Because each coat cures so quickly, we can grind, prime, base-coat, broadcast flake and topcoat within a single day on suitable floors, with foot traffic that evening and vehicles the next day. Larger or heavily damaged floors may still need a second day.
What’s the difference between polyaspartic and epoxy?
Epoxy is a thick, rigid, economical build coat but cures slowly and can yellow in UV. Polyaspartic (an aliphatic polyurea) cures far faster, stays UV-stable, and is more flexible and forgiving of moisture and temperature. Many of our floors combine both: an epoxy build coat for thickness and a polyaspartic topcoat for speed and UV stability.
Is polyaspartic good for outdoor areas?
It’s one of the best options for outdoors. Its UV stability means it won’t amber like standard epoxy, and it handles temperature swings well. We use it regularly on alfresco areas, patios and pool surrounds, usually with anti-slip aggregate for safe footing.
Does polyaspartic yellow in the sun?
No. Unlike standard epoxy, aliphatic polyaspartic is UV-stable and resists yellowing, ambering and chalking. That’s the main reason we specify it for sun-exposed floors where appearance matters.
How durable and slip-resistant is it?
Polyaspartic is extremely durable, with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance — it’s used in commercial and industrial settings as well as homes. For slip resistance we broadcast fine aggregate into the topcoat, which is especially important outdoors and around pools.
